Has anyone attempted to put an LA timing cover on a Magnum block...... I'm not 100% sure, but I think they are interchangable. I need to know for sure, cuz I'm trying to use a small block motor plate on my Magnum engine, and the time case doesn't seem to line up. I'm hoping that to be able to swap out to the LA style timing case and water pump to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.
 
Thanks, I'll be going to the bone yard this weekend to try to pick both a timing cover and waterpump up.
 
I'm definitely getting a new WP, I just want to have one for referencing the p/n. Thanks again
 
67Baccaruda.... I just realized you are located in Scotia NY.... I'm originally from Troy, right down the street. It's a small world out here after all..... Thanks for the link, I've dealt with mancini plenty in the past, if I don't find anything in my bone yard, I'll certainly go that route.
