I just love how many people are starting to take a liking to building the slant 6's !!!I'm getting my parts together little by little to be ready for my build !!!:hello1:

Just curious about your first post. What was the difference between the two tailshafts?

grant

The rebuilt is off a 70 colum shift mine is a 67 floor shift. there is a shifter bracket for the linkage coming down from the hump on the tail housing that the colums didnt have. Its a pretty easy change. In fact the book shows how to adjust both styles. Ill try to get pics later of both

I have pics of both tails the dirtier one is my 67 floor shift the only difference is the two hole bracket that is not on the colum shift unit. Plus I started the compartment cleaning which should be done tomorrow between lawn care & household chores :happy7:Its in a 67 gt
