Quick Duster(s) history for me
Turned 16 in '87, needed car. I always liked the A body style, and found a real nice 74 Duster for my first car. 318, column auto. Daily drove for about 4 years. I replaced that with a slant 6 Demon and drove it till my entry into the miltary.
While I was out in WA state in about 93 or so I picked up a 340 4sp Duster in orange/black. Again a nice presentable car. I drove that Duster across the country when I ets'd in 1995. One hell of a drive all by yourself, I recommend it.
Sold that one shortly after and it took until last year to finally get another one. Now at 52 I have a 340 Duster back in my life. Red/black and about 97% restored.....good enough for local shows etc.
Thats a cliff, cliff notes version. I worked on them alot in my younger years, rewiring the orange 73, suspension work etc. Anyways glad to be around like minded folks again.

Attached a recent photo of her......

Lets see more pics of duster and tell us more about it, eng, trans, rear future plans ect.

Pretty stock 340, A bunch of the car was already done when I got it. I did mostly cosmetic stuff over the past year. No plans with the car other than to enjoy it this summer and continue to fix the small things it needs. For example the dome light doesn't turn off...if the key is on, its on. I will probably fabricate some kind of radio delete plate to cover the bare spot in the dash. A few more pics.

Heres something fun...a pic of my other 73 during my drive back from Ft Lewis in 1995. This was taken somewhere in Utah as I recall. A picture of a picture lol.
Nothing was wrong with the rear, the picture makes it look that way somehow

Thanks, I never should have let that orange one go. That was a 4sp and reliable as the day is long. I like my current car, but man that orange one was a screamer.
