One way to remove lower control arm bushings....

I am now at the point where I have to remove the LCA bushings. I searched here and got many different ideas. Then I "Googled" it and came up with this link. Looks quite simple and effective. I will most likely use this method.

Tried that...Four times. See sticky at top of this forum if it doesn't work.

Funny I searched with search feature and didn't see the sticky!
Actually the only thing that didn't work was my welding washers to the sleeves. Dartnut welded four passes up the inside and four knobs at the top and they practically fell out. This would have the same effect as Andrev8 welding the piece inside. The sleeve shrinks and is easy to remove. The total time to remove both bushings was 25 minutes, with my wasted welding time removed.

There is a tool you can buy to take those right out no problem.
