Found one relatively local to me with 178K on the odometer. Asking price is $3195. I haven't gone to look at it yet, from the few pics it looks halfway decent.

Worth taking a 1.5 hour drive to look at ? Anything specific to look for to verify it is what is claimed since a stripe package is pretty easy to find and apply.

TIA

The bumpers and stripes were not applied at the factory, they were built without grilles, bumpers, and decals and sent to Cardinal Automotive for completion.

At the factory the bumpers had stickers on the inside of them with barcodes and the vin number for the truck that they were meant to be on. If the stickers are still on the inside of the bumper shell, you should be able to match the vin to them....

But every once in a while, they would get a little out of sequence....

One time they had a truck with no rear bumper ordered, the operators weren't paying attention and put a bumper on that truck anyway. They caught it 17 trucks later... Then had to go back and put the proper bumpers on the trucks. Luckily some of the trucks had the right color bumper on them, but not the right bar code. They just let them go as is as long as the bumper was the right color and only changed the ones that got the wrong color. So some of them went out without the matching bar code and vin on the bumper shell....

The indy decals for the trucks had orange lettering, the decal for the Indy Sebrings had white letters on the door stickers.
