Howdy...Just wondering if anyone here has experience with NIKON Buckmaster Scopes..

I'm looking at at this 4.5 - 14X 40mm Model

http://www.theriflescopestore.com/nibusc4va40m.html

I've never owned a Nikon Scope (I've always been a Leupold fan) but at $310, it's hard to duplicate the features of the Nikon with those on the Leupold lineup.

Your help (and time) is appreciated

BTW, the rifle is a Savage 10PC in .308

I have a Nikon, not that particular model though. I am not a hunter, just like going out in the woods and going blasting. Optics are clear and it works well in low light.....I am more of a Burris fan....

Nikon is a good scope, But I'm a Leupold fan and will only use them. The Vari X II is a less expensive option than the III. I use the 3-10 x 50 on a couple of my riffles.

I have a Nikon Monarch on my favorite game getter. It's a 3-9 and I think it is the cats meow. Very good in low light. Never had a problem with it in the 8 or so years since I bought it.
