Original 1973 duster untouched!

Windshield is out, didn't break it!

I have the same car with the same issues. Slowly been fixing them all, over the past year. I ended up fixing some rust in the windshield frame, roof, and cleaned up the roof joints on the pillar. Painted the roof black and reinstalled the vinyl top trim. The look came out better than I thought it would.

I scraped so many parts over the years. No one wanted them back then. I'd love to have some of the stuff I beat to death back. Everyone looked at it as "Oh another Mopar Duster thing".
 
Still the /6 all stock cars are out there but most people are doing the V8 swap of some kind. Be nice to keep a few OEM /6 cars around. Just saying.

Brother I killed a Duster just south of Gainesville FL on my way to Jacksonville... Grandpa drove about 10 miles and towed it on to his house with his Chrysler... I used all the parts that would unbolt off that Slant six on my 63 Dart and resurrected it. The Duster was Killer!. But for some reason, the day we buried My Grandma, they made me get rid of the thing I sold that son of a ***** for $40, to some freaking scumbag in the local paper....
 
Some updates
New wheels
Took out the interior to fix any issues under the carpet, just some surface rust where your feet go.
Got a custom fit fabric seat cover from seatcoversunlimited.com. fits pretty good, not perfect but was only $250 and I wanted fabric so I don't burn my legs.
