I am reconditioning my 1970 AVS 4933S to original specs. Can anyone tell me what size jets and primary metering rods should be in the carb. I currently have my 750 Qjet on the Swinger 340 and it is running real strong with good idle characteristics and crisp off idle response. My goal is to use my Carter in the original configuration on the 340 Dart and return my Rochester to backup status for my 2 hot rods. Any help with correct numbers or a web site to investigate would be appreciated.

I have been doing a lot of research on the 4933s and found an interesting factoid. It seems the 4933S is listed at 360 cfm. This sounds a little fishy considering the bore size and venturi size. Does anyone know what that spec is referring to and what the actual cfm rating is?

They r a dam good carb. I think they r rated 575-625. Kim
