Hi buddies

What's the shifter knob thread on my manual 3-speeds on the floor lever?
I want to buy a correct shifter knob, but I don't know the thread.
Thanks

For the A-230?

If so, two different threads were in use at the same time.

3/8" RH fine thread & 3/8" LH coarse thread.

There are also smooth and pebble grain shifter knobs for each thread variant, for a total of 4 different possible knobs.

Yes, A-230

RH and LH mean clockwise and counter clockwise screwing?
If yes, I have to check my lever thread screwing direction as by now, it is topped by a modified auto trans shifter knob.

Good grief!!! I never knew they used LH thread!!! Most anything I've run into has been 3/8 SAE otherwise known as NF (National Fine)

I had a look this morning, and my lever has LH coarse thread.
Now, thanks to Alaskan_TA, I also know that it's 3/8 diameter.
Just have to find an original knob now... :)

Is the LH lock nut still there? If not you will want one of those also.
