Two from Dover Drag Strip - Wingdale, New York

Charlie Castaldo 'SS/B' LO23 Hemi Dart based out of Scarsdale, New York

"Heads Up' - John Macey 'SS/BA' BO29 Hemi Barracuda based out of Bridgeport,Connecticut.

John got this BO29 from Harris Auto Sales, East Providence, Rhode Island.

Sorry but I checked and I don't have any thing on the car. I even checked on line. I found that Tommy Dodd was the driver and the car won 1970 Pro stock championship in NHRA South Division. Good Luck

Yes that is correct both Billy and Tommy have both since passed away. I found the car it sold in Houston Mecum this year. He was my cousin. Here is the car now

John Macey later drove the Heads up with a new paint job at Connecticut Dragway, crashed the car April 69 Connecticut Dragway.

I spoke with Jim Hale this past spring. He told me to come up and dig threw his pictures. He remembered meeting my uncle and cousin down in Waco Tx and building a couple of Hemis for that car and a Duster. Really cool and down to earth guy hopefully will make it up there and get a lot more photos and info on these cars. To share thanks for all the posts

Note Injection. Mostly in the early year of the seventies, cars sometime ran in GAS Class, like this S&M car and former Chackmate SS Barracuda. Here in C/Gas and 404 cuin Hemi (NASCAR Crank)

Good eye...also I believe in 1970 some 68 super stockers were running in the new Pro Stock class and Modified Production Class as well. Great pictures.

the tunnel ram Hemi ran Modified Standard here in Sweden in the eighties. We later adapted to the NHRA Classes.
