Original T/A Six Pack?

A local guy has an original T/A six pack, carbs and manifold, and most of the linkage, for $1200. Supposedly, they are original carbs. I am looking to put it on my 408 stoker. Thoughts? Worthe the money? Worth the hassle? I have a M1 and a Holley 750 with a proform center, any improvement in performance?

I`ve got a big block stroker with a six pack and I love it. If you had to buy the new stuff you`d have to spend a couple grand for everything so I think if that`s the way you want to go then 1200 dollars isn`t so bad. The carbs will likely all need to be rebuilt but that`s not a big deal. I think you`ll see an improvement with the six pack.
