A few years ago I recall reading an article about a company making headers that run over the steering linkage bar without encroaching on the starter. Does anyone know who makes these and what the model # is?

To be over the linkage headers they would almost have to be fenderwell headers. My hedman hedders fit tight to the floorpan and you can get the starter off and on without removing the header might look at them

what model hedmans? The problem I've had with the last set is that the pipes that run under the steering linkage drag on speed bumps. They ended up very flat on the bottom and eventually wore thin

Really , what hedmans ?? Only over I know of is Dougs and TTI . Let us know the part number for over steering hedmans

.........I have an old set of which i believe to be Doug Thorley, that go over the steering linkage........there from the late 70s............kim.........
