Hello everyone! I just picked up My Second Green Dart. My first was back in the '80'sw and it's long gone. This is a real sweet 318/727 car in need of some TLC. It's Rust a Free NC Car!! Very clean underneath and Floors and trunk are solid!! My plan is to paint the sides in High Gloss Black. I'll leave 1" of Green at the top. Then I might add some Green Graphics on the Rear Qtr's and I'm open to suggestions. I look forward to being part of this forum and love all the eye candy I have found so far.

It looks like you scored a very nice, solid project. Welcome to the forum and keep us posted of your progress. L8r

Thanks Jim, I love the car but I am probably going to sell it and find a 4 speed. It's extremely solid and just needs some minor mechanical stuff done.

Nice car. Good luck on selling it.
Thanks, Decided to keep it and having a blast. I put on the new Edelbrock 600 and she's running great. Fires right up, Choke works as designed(perfectly), No misses, No backfiring. I'm loving this car!

I dropped my 74 off today at My favorite body shop. She's still gonna be Sublime Green but The hood & Cowl will be black with a 360 Graphic on the drivers side of the hood. It will also get a "Dodge" Graphic on the rear 1/4's. For now It's going to be a 360 Clone but I'm putting a fresh 360 in once I get everything else done. You can see some little rust bubbles that are probably just surface rust that wasn't prepped right last time it was painted. I'm having it fixed right even if it means welding in some metal patches. The pictures below show the only problem areas the car has. She's almost completely rust free and now she'll be near perfect. Keep in mind that the paint job is many years old so it held up pretty well. Oh, and I have some new Cooper Cobra 225 70 14's waiting to go on once the paint work is finished. I will post pictures of what is under the bubbling paint and as the body work progresses.

Here are some more pictures. The Body Work Is coming along nicely. I am So happy with the quality and professionalism of The Body Shop doing the work. As suspected, no rust issues. Just minor pitting etc.. All the body work seen in the pics is where the previous painter "rushed" and didn't take the time to do a perfect job. Or it was more of a back yard project done by the car previous car owner. (Still way better than I could have done.) The Spray was actually done very well and held up great for about 10 years.

Well, I got the Brakes fixed and the Coopers on. Still pretty wet out So no test drive yet. I'm not positive if the Fronts will clear the fenders yet on hard turns. I don't really want to raise the Front up. I am going to raise the rear up at least 1" I could definitely go a lot wider on the rear if I wanted to but I like the over all look.
