Oxidized paint and wetsanding

Finally got the Dart back and had a chance to work on the paint:

Looks good but lose the turtle wax. You should use a polish after the compound before the wax too.

RGR that, Adam. I'm not at all pleased with the Turtle Wax product, and I'm amazed that I was able to bring back any shine at all. It's not finished by a long shot, but I have engine issues I'm now dealing with so it's back in the shop to have the 340 pulled and rebuilt. The camshaft bearings completely disintegrated after 2,000 miles of wear, so all of the remains are now scattered throughout the engine. Just lovely...
