Does anyone know if a 340 p/s pump has a larger diameter pulley than other applications? I was looking at pumps for sale in the mechanical parts for sale column and a pump advertised as being off a 340 looks like it had a larger diameter pulley than a non 340 pump. Since a 340 would probably rev higher than any other small block I could understand why it would be that way.
I have a 340 I intend to put in my car and want to know if I need to look for something special like that.
