Hello, any ideas if anyone sells a package tray for a 70 Dart coupe, with 6x9 speaker cutouts already cut out? (NOT the speaker holes/slits themselves, but the actual full 6x9 cutout).

How can I go about cutting it up? I'll buy an extra one from either YearOne or ClassicIndustries.

Thanks

exacto knife should work. So the repro ones with the holes won't work for your need?

Why sould you want to cut the package tray? Looks so much cleaner with the slotted package tray.

I "bottom dropped" the speakers, and they sound terrible through the speaker holes/slits.

So, I want to "top mount" them. Long long time ago, when I bought the car it was like that, the speakers sounded great top mounted.

exacto knife or a good box cutter or even a cheap body saw from Harbor Freight will do a good job

If you're going to attempt cutting the OEM board ... Good luck. They get extremely brittle with age.
