I have been looking at repop package trays. My car was radio delete. I intend to keep it that way, so no need for radio speaker slots. I dont have the original package tray, but have a badly weatherbeaten one i can use for a template.

The question is what thickness was the masonite board used to make this part, and was the part textured finish, or smooth?

If you have a pic of yours would you mind posting it to show what kind of texturing it may have. The car i am redoing is a 67 barracuda notchback, and i also have a 69 notchback future resto that will need one as well.

The repop ones arent too bad price wise, but the shipping is almost the cost of the panel itself.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Matt, I would think the thickness you need wouldn't be any more than 3/16" or at most 1/4...anything thicker than that would be a little difficult to tweak during install.

Its a 1/8 thick fiber board. About the same as Masonite. Getting a good color on it might be the tricky part.
