Painting Fiberglass hood

I have a fiberglass hood on my Dart, I used the old 80,'s Daytona springs, really was a noticeable difference. Had to ask!

The springs advertised on several sites are all messed up. They confuse the TA and AAR all the time. The TA is a heavier hood.
 
Heavier than steel? So what spring should he use if the ones he has seem a little strong?
