Just wondering what experienced painters/restorers think of this plan. I'll probably do the cut in painting and leave the rest to a pro:
- Prime and paint inside of quarters before welding them on (and perhaps all of the trunk while the quarters are off)
- Paint engine bay and front end - paint up to cowl - paint the loose front support braces to make sure of a good color match
- Paint front and rear window recesses
- Paint door pockets
- Paint doors - back side/underneath doors (doors removed)
- Paint underside of trunk and hood
- Paint entire car with all panels on
- Paint valences and hood scoops separate
