Even worse was on the TV show, "Starsky and Hutch", you would occasionally see the auto brake pedal, or the column shifter while the sound effects had him rowing a stick. And of course, he was always burning rubber. In a smog motored Torino? I don't think so.
I thought the people that produce movies, TV shows, etc. were "artists"? You'd think they'd care about details.

Ever counted the number of gear changes in Bullitt, Smokey & The Bandit, or any of the Mad Max and/or Fast & Furious movies, to name only a few?
