Howdy.

My 68 Barracuda came with a narrowed 8 3/4 rear with a Right Stuff disc brake conversion.

I do not have brake cables yet.

Do the stock cables for the rear axle work with these calipers?

I understand they will be long due to the narrowed rear.

Call or ask Right Stuff? My '72 Dart came with these disc brakes. They are from a '79 Eldorado Cadillac? Believe my car has different cables. Plus you need to weld or clamp on the stands for the flexible brake hose to the steel line.

making the stock cables work here is a gargantuan pain in all nine assholes.

the correct cables are well worth the loot. speedway, rightstuff, mbm, pirate jack all have the things with the stuffs to make it happen.

I'm running a different disk setup, but I got the cables from Doctor Diff. They had the correct ends on both sides and connected perfectly. The issue I have is the parking brake handle throw doesn't match the throw the caliper needs. With the cables as tight as they can be without any drag, they aren't quite tight enough when the brake is engaged, it holds the car, but not as well as I would like.
