Hi everyone,

I have just noticed that my parking light didnt turn on when I pull the parking brake, so I check the "parking light switch" and find out that the switch's wire dont connect to nothing!!

Iam very appreciated if anyone here could tell me where to connect the "Parking Light Switch" wire?

Pls note that I have Barracuda 1967 convrt, the manual book's wiring show that the parking switch should connect to "violet with tracer" wire, but I couldnt find it!!

Thank you very much!

The park brake indicater lamp gets it 12 V power supply from the instrument panel. There is a small switch on the hand brake mechanism that when closed supplys the ground and the comes on. Hope this helps

I never new that the parking brake E-Brake would turn any lights on.
I will have to take a look in to this, I wonder if a 66 valiant has one to.

Look at the switch atop the parking brake lever just under the dash. You should find a wire loose there that will match up with the switch. That wire tends to break a lot.
