After 3 weekends in a row of rainouts, we were finally able to race at Xtreme Raceway Park in Trumbul Texas (South of Dallas)
We didn't get the race completely in though as the rain stopped us with 4 cars left in no box and 14 in box.
I made it to the final 4 due to the other guy turning it red by a tiny amount. If he hadn't he would have beat me and I would not have been in the money.
They split semifinal and final money between us 4 remaining, and I was happy with that, because my chances of winning the semifinal and final against 3 top racers were very slim!
I would have received less $$ if I went out in semifinal or final round, so I'm happy with it. I just wish I hadn't broken out by .002 in the 1st round since this was a points race.
Next up (weather permitting) is Vintage Drags next weekend at Little River Dragway in Academy Texas.
