I haven't been keeping up with the latest and greatest parts for our cars, if money didn't matter what parts would you use to build a nice very streetable A-Body? I'm looking for body, suspension and interior stuff mostly as drivetrain possibilities are endless, and give a link to the parts if possible.

the way i would do it is:

torsion bar alter-k front suspension
RMS street lynx rear suspension
5.7 or 6.1 hemi
viper 6 speed
dana

torsion bar alter-k front suspension??

i have looked on RMS website...but never seen it shown..

Assuming a '69 Dart:
Dana rear
505 stroker with Edelbrock heads and hydraulic roller cam
Tremec 6 speed www.keislerauto.com or roll-your-own
AlterKtion www.reillymotorsports.com
RMS Rear suspension www.reillymotorsports.com
By the way, Bill's site is godawful (sorry Bill). Don't let that worry you, the products are great.
Not tubbed, slightly lowered, fairly stock-appearing

Air conditioning (you can't be "cool" with a sweaty *** crack) using one of the retro-fit kits like Classic Air or one of those guys.

AAR fiberglass hood with molded-in six pack scoop.

Stock-style interior stuff: www.legendaryautointeriors.com

Seat covers would be stock style, on stock frames, but would be upholstered in cloth or leather.

MSD 6-AL2 ignition and billet distributor. Blaster2 coil. www.summitracing.com

Painless (or equivalent) rewire to eliminate some oddball factory stuff. www.painlessperformance.com

Stewart-Warner gauges www.summitracing.com

Alpine head unit and Boston Acoustics speakers. www.crutchfield.com

If you need major body parts: www.autometaldirect.com looks like they have good stuff, but I've never tried them (yet).

Thanks for the replies, looks like some good stuff, the car in question is a 74 Dart Sport but I wanted this thread to be useful for all A-Bodies, might could even make a sticky out of it?

Interior wise (brunette blonde or red head) always makes a hot car even HOTTER.
