I feel like you had to have been born in a certain generation to have liked his show/character. I always got a kick out of his character when I was a kid, so it's a bit nostalgic for me. I can definitely see how some would be turned off by his shtick though. Either way, battling cancer isn't the best way to go.
I never liked him. Nonetheless, may he rest in peace.
