I replaced the old cast iron intake manifold with an Edelbrock Airgap and carb - I have a working performance indicator (vacuum gauge), but there’s no place to connect it to the intake. Can it be connected directly to the vacuum nipple on the Edelbrock carb?

Absolutely. I THINK it's the nipple on the driver's side.

I said nipple.

I had a place on my 360's Air Gap to put a fitting for the vacuum hose. Is your motor a big block?

I’m gonna have to go back and look again - maybe it’s buried under wires/hoses/linkage and I missed it.
The old peeps ain’t what they used to be…
