Reading a lot on the Performer/Performer RPM intakes. One thing I see come up more than once is the criticism of the "small" exit ports on the Performer. I just looked at the specs for both and the Performer exit ports are 1.12" x 2.14". The RPM exit ports are 1.13" x 2.13". The cross sectional area difference is .01 inches. Did something change recently or were some folks just mistaken?

Some people like to compare them to fully ported race intakes like one compares to the other. I noticed that they were basically the same too. They do the same thing on heads too. I think it's been proven that the RPM flows better than the Performer, hence it's higher power band. My thinking is that the overall flow path might be a little less restrictive on the RPM, not that the exits themselves are any bigger.
