I live in Utah. I just got my personalized plates in the mail for my Barracuda. They are specialty plates for vintage vehicles 30 years or older. Registration is only $10 a year with no inspections or emissions. They ask for first, second and third choices when you apply. They reject anything even remotely sexual or racist in nature. My first choice was Cooda, as in Cuda, because you have to have exactly five characters for a vintage plate. It came up on the DMV website as available. My second choice was Kooda, phonetically the same pronunciation. My third choice was 65FSH. 65FSH is what came in the mail today. Wondering why they didn't give me my first or second choices, I googled the word "cooda" and came to find out that it is urban slang for female genitalia. Who knew?
