This isn't new, but I missed it and never saw anything about it.
Pete was one of the Ramchargers from the very beginning.
Here is a link to his Obit.
Peter Joseph McNicholl Obituary (1934 - 2021) Iosco County News-Herald

He worked on the high and mighty Plymouth and had a couple of slant six winning drag cars.

Highly recommend getting this book if you can find it. Excellent history of the Ramchargers. Just reading a few pages is motivation enough to want to go out to the shop and tinker and tweak. Then want to hit the track. It’s that good.

In my opinion the best book even written about Mopar racing history.

^^Starts at about a hundred bucks^^

I had no idea that any of that team was even still with us

Old post but thought you all would appreciate it. Pete was actually my parent's neighbor in Michigan. My dad was chatting with him one day and mentioned his son just bought a '66 Barracuda. Pete talked about having one back in the 80's he fixed up and built a nice 360 motor for. Long story short, he found the old sales record and it's the same vin number as mine! Crazy Here's a picture he sent me before passing with my car when he owned it and as it sits today. RIP Pete, he was a very nice and cool guy with awesome stories! So glad to have met him
