Ron, I'm in Ohio not that far from Mars, what do you get for the steel version of the 63 Max Wedge and 66-67 Hemi scoops ?

What's too cool is this vintage Hemi super stocker has the (Petty Gree) to match ...way cool ,super trick!!!

One of your pictures show a Duster with "Butler" bars.
I know Roy had a Butler Duster also.

As I remember.....Roy updated his Petty built Duster for 1973 but bought Butch's 73 Butler built Duster in late 1973 and at the start of Chrysler's (factory paid drivers of Leal, Sox, Landy, and Carlton ) NHRA Pro Stock boycott. Roy and Butch are still good friends and talk often.

Love the cragar super tricks I'm redoing a set now...

Amazing work Sir. You mentioned restoring back to "as raced", isn't the metal work you are doing way to nice?
Yes it is. But the car is retired now. And most that never saw these turds in person don’t realize how ruff they were. Your correct

The petty built duster was also painted in this paint set as not not confuse the world. I’ve had long talk to owner of the leal/butler chassis duster and I’m doing mine in the 1972 style and blue/white paint set as the die cast is

I’m blown away by replies to the old car. I put this up while back. Didn’t see any interest in it. If you on FB. Join the National Nostalgia Pro Stock Association. I own the organization my wife and Herb McCandless jr. Kevin Maclean run the group. Got shirts available too.

Its a painting by Frank Frazetta that was used on a Molly hatchet album cover. I believe the original artwork sold for several million dollars recently.
Sir. Yes it did. I’m going to frazetta museum one of these days. To see his work in person.

I'm good, Joe mentions you often. Sure would like to meet you sometime, I get to Mark Sommas / Somma Pizza in Plum right across from Oakmount Country Club / golf course every now and then. I think that is kinda in your back yard.

Check this out when you get time. This thread was started by my brother years ago and the car has turned into the resto-mod Butch and I are doing.
