Well, I finally got myself a Digital Camera. So now there is no excuse! I should have had this over the winter when I was doing all the body work on my Dart.

Anyways, I am in the learning phase of this new camera and I took a couple crappy pics in the garage last night. One of these nice days, I'll get some good pics of the detailed parts of the car outside in better lighting.

So here is a couple of pics. I'm trying to show some of the new paint and body work, as well as often asked questions regarding the rear end / suspension.

Looks great Larry! it's pretty hard to capture the real depth of a good paint job with a camera. You car looks real clean! I like it!

how does one get the engine bay looking so clean? what was removed/rerouted? i know my engine bay is like "BLOW" when you open the hood. so much stuff going everywhere.
thats the one thing i want to do, clean it all up, paint the bay, and put it back together so it looks nice and simple.

To get it that nice you have to take it all apart first  I got to the "take it all apart" stage, now I just have to make time to paint it a put it all back together :eek:ops:

holy ****, take it all apart means take it ALL APART... (that was stupid to say, but, damn)
oh, i just thought to add this..
those valve covers are supposed to be blue... and it needs new belts, they squeal a little if you rev the engine much. actually... that might be the PS pump... now that i think about it, the PS is being a little funny, i think ill check the fluid tomorrow morning.

Thanks guys. Actually, it was taken all apart and all holes were filled in by mig welding. Rust holes were replaced with sheet metal and filled and block sanded. I did "body work" on the inner fenders. They are blocked out and very smooth. Even after painting, the inner fenders are wet sanded and buffed. Now I didn't do that to the firewall or anywhere else...there is just paint and a really wet coat of clear on it.

i got a copy of the new Mopar Muscle today, loved the article. also an inspiration to me, but i dont have a dart...
