Thanks for the info. He needs to do a training session and invite Anthony. lol
Will you running one of their flame thrower coils? I bought a 40011, but see this ignitor recommends the .6 ohm 45011 model.

I agree, a training session is in order, perhaps over lunch. At this point I'm running a new stock original looking coil (from Rock Auto). I haven't measured it in a while but I think it was .7 ohm.

Jumping back on this thread to say I did install the 1385LS in my IBS-4013 distributor. This is the original ignitor, before the 91385LS Ignitor II came out. It's my understanding if you have a fairly stock motor and don't need the advanced features of the Ignitor II this one will save you a little money.

The CW and CCW vacuum advance pins are not as clearly marked. I'm hooking up to the pin nearest the CW, but don't understand why the CCW isn't next to the other pin.

That is odd, the CW pin is the one to use, but why did they stamp it like that? Maybe a call to Pertronix would explain it, then again it depends on who you talk to there.

I did send the photo to their tech email. I'll see what they have to say. Your set up with the Ignitor II leaves no doubt what pin to hook the advance too.

That's the best way to handle it, a picture is worth 1,000 words.
