Thanks again, all. Got the right bushing installed, along with the transmission. Big day for the project.
Story time:
I bought the bushing from Al’s. While waiting for the order confirmation, I thought I’d call my clutch shop to see if they could get the right bushing. Turns out clutch shop had a bunch in the back. Told me I could pick it up same day. Free of charge.
Right as I got off the phone, I got my confirmation from Al’s. Ended up with an extra bushing, but it’s all good—I have a 1965 273 waiting in the corner for its turn. Bushing will get used in 20 years or so.
