Pinion Angle Help

-
The transmission and differential should, under "normal" driving conditions, be the same angle. I use the drive on lift at work to measure how much wrap up in get with light to moderate throttle. I also use an adjustable pinion snubber for launch wrap up control. It is a touring car. The amount of pinion "lift" will vary depending on load but you can tell where you apply throttle in normal driving and make an educated guess where the pinion will end up. If you race and a regular basis I would error on the high side of the pinion angle.
