I just finished setting up the 3.73 gears and power lock diff in the stock width Dana 60 for my 70 Dart Swinger. I need to weld the spring perches on now. Should I just duplicate the angle of an 8 ¾ housing? I have a good E-body housing to use as a guide. My car has 002-003 super stock springs so I think they would end up crooked if I tried to set them up on the car.

Dont know if you have an iphone, but theres an app. Tremec tool box. Have played with it a little.

.................E body may be different than A body if that is what you are saying you will use...........

I maybe wrong, but I think that the pinion angle is parallel to the angle of the trans angle. Most of the time it is 5 degrees nose down. That is 5 degrees down angle from what the drive shaft is relatively to the ground.
