So I had a great snubber, no rust, good rubber.
I decided to remove the rubber bumper to properly prep and paint the metal.
I bent up one tab just enough to remove rubber.
Well it's time to put it together...
The one tab I streightened I can not for the life of me get it to bend down flat.
I assume if I had a press I could apply enough pressure to squish the rubber enough to flatten the tab.
I have tried everything I have available, it should be so simple, but the rubber absorbs the impact and the tab just sits there laughing at me.
Anyone have any success reinstalling used bumper or installing a new replacement bumper?
