Pitman part number?

Hello all. Switching to manual steering in my 1970 Duster. Have bought a nice second hand steering box from a fabo member. It has the 32 spline shaft. What is an actual part number for the pitman arm I need?

Look on the gear for any part numbers.
Many times the casting never is not exactly the same as the part number.

You might find a date number too.

If it was me I would first start with what was called out for on your car. The spline size and count is the deciding factor. The shape and whether the ball stud points up or down will need to match the ideler arm on your car now.

In 1970 whether you had manual or power steering the pitman arm was the same size. They use the small sector shaft pitman ( 32 spline). So in your case you should be able to re-use your stock pitman.

Thanks all for the help and suggestions. I found what I needed. Ended up going to a moog part #k7076 pitman and a #7086 idler arm. Will be bolt down instead of up now.

The 7076 pitman arm is for the big shaft. I just bought one for my Borgeson PS swap because my manual box used the smaller shaft and I couldn't just use the one I had.

I know the manual box came in both sizes so I assume you verified that you have the large shaft box?

Did you buy the matching centerlink? Don't think you can just bolt the early one up to to the later parts.
