Doing some general housekeeping on my 72 Duster. Had to replace the oil pan so naturally the center link had to be dropped. While thats being done might as well replace the tie rod ends as the boots are shot. Adjustors also replaced. I noticed that the grease boot between the pittman arm and the center link was deteriorated as well.
Question is as follows. Is this a similar boot as used on the center link to the tie rod ends or something special? Can new ones be purchased and if so where? What is the diameter of a stock pittman for this car? Don't need a new pittman arm for the sake of getting a boot. Anyone else run across this problem before?

Im looking at the same problem and when i find an answer ill be sure to email you..dont want a whole new arm for a boot..ha..ve you looked at t rod end boots yet?..j
