Plug Weld Question

Hey Folks,

We are going to be welding our sub-frame connectors into the Duster and I'm wondering if anyone could recommend the diameter of hole to drill for plug welds. Will be drilling a few holes where the connector overlays the rear frame rails. Thanks in advance!

I work n a body shop we do 5/16 plug welds

Did half inch here, and I don't think it really matters that much as long as the one doing the welding is ok with it.

Thank you both for the replies & info. Haven't plug welded metal this thick (1/8"), so just thought I'd ask folks with a bit more experience. I'll do a quick test on some scrap. Thanks again for giving me something to start with fellas.
