plymouth 4 cylinder engines

i heard plymouth had a 4 cylinder engine in the 1950,s, true or not?

Not that I ever heard of. Now the 70`s yeah but probably Jap stuff.

When Chrysler took over the Maxwell Corporation they made several flat head straight 4's into the 1930's. I believe they then went to the flathead straight 6 and the 4 banger didn't reemerge until the early 80's except maybe the late 70's Horizons.
