Does anyone know if the hood and trunk plymouth letters are painted inside or are they chrome? Also on the front fenders the Barracuda script is the end of the a long or short? Tom

1966 Barracuda had the center part painted black, the Barracuda script/emblem had the "short" A in 66 too.
 
I'm pretty sure all 64,65 &66 lettering are the same with the exception of the V8 emblems.
 
The 66 hood letters "M" and "O" of Plymouth for the Valiant & Barracuda look like the 64 & 65 letters but are different, probably because of the center crease in the hood. I think the back side is contoured differently and the mounting pins are in different locations. The letters are chrome with the center painted a sorta flat black. I think someone has repro's of these but the M & O might not fit the 66 hood.

glad I found out before painting the sets I have
