Any factory points distributor that looks like a factory electronic one? I have a car in my shop that's getting an engine compartment refresh and owner wants to switch to electronic ignition.

Pertronix is the only one that is mostly hidden, though a factory electronic with an hei unit stashed underneath is close.

The HEI module can be hidden under the dash. I mounted mine there to keep it cool. I also mounted a spare next to it in case it failed. Four terminals, takes 5 min to swap over....but never had to do it. Mount on a heat sink, & tie wrap to the wiring harness. No need to drill mounting holes. The ferrules on the module are the ground return. So a ground wire needs to to run from a ferrule [ or the heat sink ] to a convenient place.

Yeah, all of um. All you need to do is hide the control box.

So swapping from points to elec, but wants it to "appear" as points? Just hide/mount the ecu in the cab? Hide the 2 wires from distributor as best as possible. Wires come out of dist and run them straight to firewall and bundle with rest of engine harness.

You are. The factory electronic ignition and point type ignition take the same cap, so they look almost identical.
