Ok so the Dodge Aspen & Plymoth Volares are always getting comments from the uneducated so called "car guys" mostly chevy guys who don't even know what a Nova looks like cause they keep telling me I have a really nice one. I just smile and say it's not a chevy, and then watch them backtrack all over themselves trying to figure out what my Aspen is. So my latest little project should really confuse the hell out of them when they are following my car. I'm working on installing an 8-3/4 3.91 sure grip into it and as we all know the rear side is round and smooth (no pan) So I thought why not make a cover for it???? I can't go buy a chrome or aluminum one, so I'll just make it. So as you look at the photo's you can just see the poor chevy guy following my car scratching his head :scratch: and trying to figure out why this Nova has a Dodge Ram emblem on it, cause it's big enough that he won't be able to miss it.:evil4:

keep an eye out for the new 2011 Ram trucks then look at the tailgate, one of the largest emblems I ever seen put onto a car or truck. Just had to have it for my car so I went onto ebay and found it for $22.00

now tell them it's an f-body and watch their heads explode.

Yah cause we all know it takes a mopar to catch a mopar, so the only veiw they will have is that huge ram head in front of them:burnout::supz:
 
Thats funny,
You better measure that it will clear the gas tank.
 
no problems there, because of the way I contoured the backing plate to the rear end the whole thing with emblem only stands 3/4" off the rear and I have 4" to the gas tank. So we are good :supz:

Probably off a ram pickup.
Those things arre bigger than a redneck belt buckle now.

Same thing for the fords. The emblem now takes up 1/3rd of the tailgate.
It's so stupid.

"Oh, I wouldnt have known it was a dodge if I didnt see the 1 square foot ram head!"

Well the whole "big balls" fad hanging off the back bumper thing has been way over done so why not do something different.......plus I'm heterosexual why would I want to see balls on my car? When the whole female thing is way more attractive to me. Most guys I know have some kind of scantly dressed woman’s pics in their garage or even air brushed on their car. I don't know about you but I don't want to see some dudes nut sack on my car........
