Bought this 65 GT that had been stored for 20 years inside and never driven in salt. 100000 miles,6 w auto and ps. I think my grandson will buy it. He took it for a drive yesterday.

I posted a rendering back in June 2018 (Post #311) of what my '69 Dart will look like when finished. At the time I was hoping to have it out of 'paint prison' that same month. It got pulled out of that prison when the owner refused to finish it because his collision business was proving much more profitable.
It went into another shop about a year ago and will finally be completely finish painted in 4 more days.

After looking for a 69 Dart for several years, I finally found one only 12 miles from me. It was last registered 25 years ago. Some starter fluid, a new battery and a charger, and I drove it out the back yard it was sitting in. It still needs a LOT of work to be streetable, but I'm pushing hard to have it on the road this summer. Here it is after its first bath in who knows how long.

Got a glass 6-pack hood since I posted in Dec. which takes a lot of weight off the front and probably helps lower underhood temps too.. The small shop, young guy in his 20's with a part-time helper, screwed up the color match (in all fairness, he didn't have the car, just the hood, but same brand paint, same painter, same gun, etc.) Will get that fixed later by someone more experienced.
