My '70 Dart is coming along... Got new brake lines throughout, master cylinder, rear end all rebuilt, oiled n painted (8 3/4, 323 gears, 742 posi) 727 tranny all rebuilt and installed.
Wheels and tires installed, heads done, engine parts all bought, door mechanisms replaced n new handles, new remote mirror n controls.
New everything mounts: tranny cross member n tranny mounts, slant 6 to 383 conversion motor mounts, as well as poly locs to reduce engine movement... Plus lots more... About to begin assembling engine...
If you squint at it from far away, it almost looks like a real car :)

Beautiful! Are those the 17x7 lx wheels? If so, did you have to use spacers or any mods to get them to fit? I'm looking for a cheap 17 for autocross wheels, tire selection in 15" is dismal.

Thanks! Yes 17X7s they are from a late model Chrysler 300. Back spacing is just under 5", I use no spacers and they center up really nice in my rear fender well. I just drilled for the center caps.

Just painted in my drive way! came out real nice. Laquer

I sold this one back in 1985 to someone in Minnesota. Sometimes wonder if it survived and is still around...

74 Dart Swinger
Hope to soon to get it going. Have odds and ends to do before firing and some rust to repair in the trunk.

Top 2 pics are a few days after bringing it home over 10 years ago

Next 3 are some of the most recent I have that were taken in mid 2014 when I bedlined the new hood and scoop.

Last 1 is when the new 318/904 Combo were dropped in January 2015

Here are some pics of my 1970 Dodge Dart Custom GT. The car has the LH VIN, with the "H" for custom and the "A65" Code - GT package/trim with the 318c.i., TF 904 automatic transmission, 8 3/4 (now with sure grip - only thing not matching numbers), sway bar, buckets and center console, triple green, all matching numbers. In 1971 the Dart was in New Jersey (as you can see on the sticker on the windshield - valid until august 1972) and since december 1971 the Dart runs in Austria, Europe.
