this is when i first got mine last october. original paint. just had legendary seat covers put on and added a pistol grip,
but havent taken pics yet. shes comin all apart this winter for a complete resto
slightly modified drivetrain over the ole /6 & 3spd
This is mine. Came to me as a 318 auto and is currently undergoing a swap to a 400 B series, 5 speed, B-Body 8 4/4. etc. Just started on it - a nice feature is the Arizona rust free body.
69Bronze,
I have many pics of the build here on ' Birth of the Blue Missile' in members restorations. Let me know what you think. I included one of its current state.
Jeff,
I knew there was something I didn't like about the '70-'72 body style.:-D

Here's mine. Very little action when it was for sale. I started to work on her again. It will be a driver in the spring.I basically need to install the drivetrain and put some white '71 side stripes on it.
Here's a 73 Duster we just saved from hands of the local good old boys. Also came with a nice 360 and small block 727. Should be up and running soon, then it will be for sale. This car has been waiting for some attention for a long time now, just glad we saved it before it fell into the wrong hands!!! Geof
Its not mine anymore, my wife sold it for me a couple years ago while I was over in Turkey. My best friend helped me build it. It was a barn find in Chester, SC that had been a drag car previously. When I bought it, it had no motor or trans, but it came with a '69 big block K-member and mounts, 440 torsion bars, A-body 8 3/4 w/Strange BBP axles, front BBP disk brakes, 6 point roll cage, and frame connectors. My best friend helped me stuff my steel crank 440, 4-speed, and 4.10 B-body Dana 60 in it. The first pictures of it with the weld wheels are of it in that configuration.
Just before it was sold, I changed it over to an automatic, SBP A-body 3.55 posi 8 3/4, and front SBP drums. The later pictures with the aluminum slot wheels are of it in that configuration.
