I have my first RB stroker build,I am interested in seeing what stroker combos are out there. Mine is a 040 over bore 10.3 comp with M1 manifold Indy sr heads,Hughe engine solid camshaft. 1.6 rockers,1050 dom, 3600 stall 4.10 Gears. No times on this motor and no horse power rating yet.:burnout:Thanks

Check out the sticky threads up top. There "Time Zone" threads that include all sorts of displacements. I like the idea of a sticky on just big block stroker combos. Could be another one for small blocks as well.

440RB / 500" Stroker
4.15 stroke .055" over
10.9 compression
CNC ported INDY EZ heads
Indy single plane with 1000HP Holley
Comp Solid Flat tappet cam
1.6 Harland Sharp Rockers

Best pass so far is 10.3 at 134 with a 3,800lb full weight street car and a 4 speed. Still working on chassis tuning.

I'm in the process of compiling parts for a 451 low deck Storker motor with indy 440-1 heads, and im planning on a compound turbo setup, should be a beast

Maybe i should have gotten the 11.1 comp#-o But if i can still get in to the 10s with what i got..One thing is that my duster is 3100 lbs.

You should be fine. Your car is much lighter. That is a huge advantage. I think you should hit your goals with no problems. The only thing that worries me is that Hughes cam. I originally put my motor together with a Hughes cam and it made great power but the lobes wiped out real quick. I replaced it with the same Hughes cam and that one wiped out just as fast so I switched to a comparable Comp cam and no problems since.

My 5.7 hemi is stroked out to 414 ci. Bore size not changed. 12.5:1 compression. If I do it again, I will not go so high on compression because it's hard to find plugs for that heat range.

What pistons are you running and what is the chamber size on your EZ heads? Your set up is very close to mine.

Ross flat tops. .007" in the hole. The heads are closed chamber but opened up the combustion chamber to 85cc

Yeah mine are 75cc I'm thinking i need to open them up to lower compression a little, i have about the same piston but I'm running Diamonds.

Modern Cylinder Head did mine. I wanted to keep the quench with the closed chamber head but still run pump gas.

If I have figured mine correctly I am about 11.3:1 right now and I think I can get away with pump gas but wont be able to put as much timing in it. Modern Cylinder head wasnt too far from me but Jeff passed away so I do not think their doors are open any more.

What is your cam specs or which cam did you get..
I saw a 23-633-5 comp cam

When I used to run 400s alot I kept looking at the CH compared to the 440 and figured I could make a 480 fairly easy if I had a 4.125 crank. So now I have a 4.125 crank, 400 pistons on stock 440 rods and stealth heads in a +0.020 440 block. It bolts together nice but still haven't picked a cam which will determine fly cut if any.

I had Comp custom grind me a cam. I'm trying to remember exactly what the specs are. It's somewhere around .692 lift on the intake and .698 on the exhaust. 278 duration at .050 on the intake and 280 on the exhaust at .050.

440 0.30 flat tops, off set ground welded crank 4.080. Stage 6 heads mild port work. Pro part headers, pro trans with 4.10 gears. We only got 3 pass's and was asked/told to leave. No roll bar. [ame]http://youtu.be/Wg-z2JM6jms[/ame]

Loose valve cover bolt after valve adjustment. No oil on the track.

You have a 5.7 Hemi in the duster do you have a photo of the engine in the car?

I'm having a hard time selecting a cam so please post your specs if possible....

You should talk with your engine builder or a cam specialist for best results. The cam was a flat tappet. Comp 654 lift 328 advertised duration, 278 @ 50.
