Dad went to Claud Short Dodge in Santa Monica, CA.
(Stock photo, yes I know it is not a dart and not a 67)

He looked at the sales brochure and took some notes

(Original brochure that my dad saw and wrote notes on, so first image of his new 67 Dart GT Convertible)

He ordered it and it was manufactured in Hamtramck.
(Stock photo, yes I know it's a 69)

I wouldn't say it was for sale per-se however I did exchange some currency for it and is now in my possession. The money is a moot point for this car. It's been my Dad's basically since 1980 and sat since 1986. This is literally the evening I brought it home from pulling it out of the building in about 7 years or so ago....

This is the condition that I found the car in. The car was sitting outside under lean-to of a barn in Mound City Missouri.

I know it's not a A body and I didn't give the asking price of 7500 got it for 6500 and it ran
And that's how it sits right now in the garage trying to get it all redone

The exterior of my car looks basically the same as when I bought it. All the fun stuff is on the inside.

I know the pureist will hate me but this is what the interior looked like when I bought it,

Looks a lot like my Dart interior. I have 16.1 manual steering otherwise I'd have a Tuff wheel too.

Here's the pictures I saw on Fakebook market place on the disappointing ride home after driving 300 miles to look at a 67 Fastback 383 4 speed that was a total turd. I said to my girlfriend after seeing the pictures "If that car is half as nice as it looks in pictures I'm buying it" Fact is the car was nicer than pictures show. I rebuilt the car and now it's even better couldn't be happier with it.

It’s funny, the ad didn’t say a word about rotten front frame rails, floor, trunk wheel, rockers, rear pan, kmember, quarters, fenders, inner wheel wells or previous vinyl top. All fixed now boy!
