Post your 325/50/15 wheel and tire combos

You can use the stock tubs and get as low as you like, you just need to cut the outer house off and run sheet metal out to the quarter. Im running 325/50/15 on a 12" wheel with and inch to spare on each side of the tire and my car is low. Not sure how I ran across this old thread lol.

So if i was to have my 70 Dart mini tubbed and the leaf springs moved to the frame rails all with a stock lenght A-body rear end and run a 15x10 with 325/50-15 what would the back space have to be to fit? The car is currently all stock if that helps.

I was wondering about cutting the outter house off, i was just concerned about welding sheet metal to the quarter and how that might affect the quarter, access the weld etc.

do you have any advice or more photos?

Thanks

I didn't weld it to the quarter, i just seam sealed it to the quarter and it's pretty strong. I have heard of people bonding them with epoxys but since my car is already painted that wasn't an option. It feels strong and this way if something his the tub hard enough i can just re seam seal it, i would be afraid of something to strong there and buckling the quarter if something pulls on the tub.

Its TIGHT.15x10 6.5" bs 11 inch drums, stock length 8 3/4. 7" bs would have been the way to go but they fit with some creative trimming I managed about 3/8-7/16 to what was left of the lip. A little close for comfort but will manage. And yes, just a test fit. Directional tread is important.

That is a big tire in there. Looks bad ***.

I mini tubbed but didn't narrow rear end, just have 6" bs, should have 7" to make it perfect for spacing! 325-50-15 on 10" weld draglites.

Sorry to drag up such and old post but this is rite on info for what I need. My Duster currently has 295/50/15's on it. It is mini tubbed but the rear is not narrowed. It has 15x10 centerlines with 6in BS. I have my other 8-3/4 that has been narrowed and has a strongback welded in. I want to run a 325/50/15 on it and had planned on buying axles and rear rims to swap in the narrowed housing but if this pic is accurate and these wheels are 6in BS they look fine to me. If that is the case I will just buy tires and finish everything else for now. Any one else running a 15inch wheel with that much BS? Thanks for any info.
