i am needing ideas for wheels for the cuda. i have thrown around the idea of
15x8 cop wheels with 255/60r15's, but i notice that a couple of people have 67-69 cudas have 275's without changing suspension. they are running lower profile tires, but how much flex will i get with a 275/50r15? i might even go with 17 inch wheels too. maybe paint the centers of some AR daisy 200s rims.

I can't see how 275s would fit properly without at least moving the springs. They would fit on mine, but it would be too close for comfort - no room for tire flex.

look at modcuda's link. he put 275's on 10in rims! looks a bit closer than i like, but if it doesn't rub......

what about super coupe wheels(factory 15x8 cop wheels)? what is the backspacing and availability on those?

Yep, that's too close, IMHO. No room for tire flex. Get it hard into a long sweepimg turn at some given inflation pressure and it's going to tear up the sidewall.
